Arrival in Marrakech & Pre-Shabbos Exploration
Arrive in Marrakech, take in the vibrant atmosphere, and immerse yourself in the local culture. Enjoy a private transfer to your riad, a traditional Moroccan house, where your journey begins. Stroll through the historic Jewish Quarter (Mellah), visiting the beautiful Slat Al-Azama shul and the Jewish Cemetery. Soak up the lively energy of Jemaa el-Fna Square, and explore the dynamic souks. After a full day of exploration, return to your riad to prepare for Shabbos.
Shabbat in Marrakech
Spend a beautiful Shabbos in Marrakech taking nice walks and enjoying the beautiful views. Delectable meals will be served, catered to perfection, giving you a taste of the unique Moroccan flavors. Experience the warm hospitality and rich traditions of the local Jewish community.
Explore Marrakech and Drive to Casablanca
Start your day by exploring the Moroccan souks and Medina, which is filled with markets, landmarks, and rich Moroccan culture. Stroll through the narrow streets, discovering discovering handmade crafts, traditional textiles, aromatic spices, and stunning tilework. Afterwards, head out to Casablanca, where you will be spending the night.
Rabat, Meknes and Arrival in Fes
Start your day with a visit to the awe-inspiring Hassan II Mosque, a stunning architectural masterpiece perched on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean. Next, explore the charming Kasbah of the Udayas in Rabat, where you’ll wander through its picturesque blue-and-white streets. In the afternoon, continue to Meknes, where you’ll experience the vibrant energy of its lively markets and historic sites. Finally, head to Fes, Morocco’s cultural and historical heart, where you’ll spend the night in the comfort of your traditional riad.
Fes Exploration and Sahara Journey
Head to the Jewish Quarter, known as Mellah, a beautiful section of Morocco. Explore the Ibn Dan Synagogue and visit the Jewish Bais HaChaim. Afterwards, make your way to the vibrant souk for more colorful sights. Enjoy a tour of the local leather tannery, and explore the artisan markets. In the afternoon, make your way to the Sahara Desert, either by drive (approximately 7-8 hours) or by taking a small flight. Depending on your travel choice, rest up for the night in or near the Sahara Desert.
Sahara Desert Experience
Start your day with an exhilarating desert adventure, riding camels across the golden dunes as the sun rises. For a burst of adrenaline, try quad biking or sandboarding down the towering sands. In the afternoon, explore nearby Berber villages to connect with the locals and experience their rich traditions, or unwind in the peaceful desert camp. As night falls, enjoy a traditional Moroccan feast by the campfire, accompanied by enchanting Berber music, before drifting off under a sky glittering with endless stars.
Return Journey
After a spectacular trip, make your way back to the airport, stopping at scenic lookouts and historical towns along the way. Take a moment to capture the beauty of your surroundings and enjoy a final taste of the local charm. Stay at the hotel near the airport until your flight home, savoring the memories of a wonderful trip "Planned Rite."
